Reagan Americanism.

Every now and then you hear the phrase "The age of Reagan conservatism is dead" uttered by some pseudo-conservative, Republican or any radical Liberal. Republicans that claim this are the worst. You will also often hear them say the Conservatives need to stop labeling themselves as "Conservative" and open up the big "tent" to others. What tent? Label? I do not understand. Some have even said that I, Justin Ottavio Grecco, Am a stereo-typical Conservative. I know, I was blown away too!

Stereo-Typical? Last time I checked it was the Deceptocrats that labeled their voters. Set them apart from each other. Even spoke in different dialects and styles to appear like they were one of them. The "Black vote", "Hispanic vote", "Jewish vote", It goes on and on and it will continue to go on until people open their eyes and realize that it is the left in this country that has not only labeled citizens, But helped to separate them from one another.

While sitting and thinking to myself how some could say that the "age of Reagan Conservatism is dead," and "We need to stop labeling ourselves," I realized something.An Epiphany if you will. I realized that "Conservatism" is not a bad word (shhhh, I knew that already) but what could be an even better way of describing Ronald Reagan's views can be described as "REAGAN AMERICANISM."

So I would ask a question to any God fearing, Country loving American. Is the age of Americanism, The age of "Reagan Americanism" dead? I would hope not.

While the whole country watches as President Obama nationalizes company after company, Financial institution after financial institution and gives speeches apologizing for "arrogant Americans," and stating that America cannot impose democracy on other nations (which we never did), And when was freedom an imposition?
I ask, Is the age of Americanism dead?

It was always clear when Ronald Wilson Reagan spoke, That in his voice, In his words and in his actions that he loved this country, And that he loved the American people. That is why you will never hear a speech given by Ronald Reagan addressing one specific group. There was only one to him, Americans. Now is that so bad?
Is that a view, an understanding and a love of a country and its people that needs to die? Or rather is it any of those things that current Americans should let die?
I pray that we don't.

So the "Age of Obama" is here. The age of fixing America. Fixing what was wrong from the beginning in his eyes. Fixing even the American people! Who is arrogant? Obama knows how to fix you, and me? Are you understanding where I am coming from?

Most American Presidents seek office because they love this country and have ideas to help it grow. But it is clear now and always has been for me that Obama sought office to stop America from doing the bad things it has always done. Like champion free markets, Stand for freedom around the world, Protect the weak, and advance this great society. Wait, those things don't sound that bad.

So while the voices out there will insist that "Reagan Conservatism" is dead, I say we stand up, And enter the "Age of Reagan Americanism!" And Thank men like Ronald Wilson Reagan that there is still an America to love.
