Liberty under attack.

Liberty.
What is liberty to an American in these times?
Is it the right to ask your government for something free, whether it's health care, dental care, daycare etc...? It seems to be that way. The sense of entitlement has spiraled out of control! It has gotten to the point that if a person is taken care of by the tax dollar, It automatically gives them this sense of entitlement for more. It is a sad state of affairs if you ask me. To see an individuals spirit, drive, determination, fire if you will, be smothered by a wet blanket of charity (charity that does not lead you to success), and empty promises that can no easier be fulfilled to benefit the person making the promise, than help the person the promise has been made to.
This is where I, as a conservative, and a liberty loving American, would say that there is no better promise to be made than that of one to yourself. And no better fulfillment than that of a promise fulfilled by yourself. To rely on one's self is in fact liberty. The very liberty to carry out a dream, whatever that dream may be. But that liberty does not stop there, it continues, to do what you wish with the product of that dream, whatever that may be.
Liberty! It is a beautiful thing when left to be exactly what it is meant to be.
And liberty is exactly what it is meant to be.
the right to act according to your own will.
the right to be free.
the right to pursue a dream etc..
It is freedom from coercion.
Once it is obstructed by coerion, it is no longer liberty. It is a view, a view of another. And in that sense is now a tyranny!
