Trapped under ice.

As we all Know The debate over President Obama's 2010 budget begins this week.
The idiocy is staggering to say the least. Obama's proposed 3.6 Trillion dollar budget is by definition not a budget at all.. It's a spending spree!
When everyday people think of the word "budget" we automatically think of cutting back.
Well, it is apparent that Barack never had to sit at his kitchen table and discuss with Michelle what their budget for the month, or year would be. At least it seems that way.
The CBO (congressional budget office) has said that Obama's budget would triple our debt to a staggering 9.3 Trillion by 2019! And that's without interest. Not nearly impossible, But IMPOSSIBLE to sustain. And that the deficit's would stay 4% above the GDP (gross domestic product)!. numbers our economy simply cannot manage.
Do we care about our children?
Do we care about our Grandchildren?
It is clear Obama does not.
The very fact that Obama would put this kind of debt on future generations, Shows me that he has other motives. Motives that he will not come right out and say. He can't!
He disguises them as "investments"
He does not care about future deficit's, He cares about laying a foundation.
Contrary to what he will tell you that foundation is, "the future of our economy", its something very different.
It is laying the foundation to remake America the way he and other radicals believe it should be.
It is paving the way to socialism.
The image of America in Obama's eyes is not broken, And it doesn't need to be fixed.
In his eyes It is now what it was from the beginning, Wrong.
Yes, Obama believes America is wrong! Founded wrong, Governed wrong, And not just the past 8yrs, all the way from its founding until right now. And he's going to change it.
that's right, your life wont be any better, your pockets wont be any deeper, but America will be changed for the better, the way he imagines it. you wont be richer, but he'll get back at those evil CEO's in your name, and that oughta make you feel better.
He's going to spend all this money, And dump the deficit on us, our children and their children, but it would've all been worth it in his eyes.
So now we face a crumbling economy, unemployment rates that are rising, Home foreclosures,
Homeowners that are under water due to plummetted market value, and those are just a few.
Well I have news for you. If this budget gets passed (and I'm guessing it will), And Obama spends like a maniac that just won lotto, The whole country will be under water!
Even worse, the deficits will be so deep, the dollar so devalued, And the self esteem of a country crushed, That we Really may never recover.
America will be in such a bad way, That we wont just be under water.
I fear we will be "Trapped under ice"!

Imperial Presidency

An Imperial Presidency.
CEO Rick Wagner, of GM was asked (told) by the white house (Barack Obama) to resign. And he did so. Well, That's what you get for nationalizing the company. In a speech today Barack Obama said, "the government has no interest in running GM". But then you fire Rick Wagner? I believe that's "running" the company. Or ruining it! I will speak more on that at another time.
Today's blog is on an Imperial Presidency. Something George W. Bush was accused of. Because of the "Patriot act" as well as other ridiculous accusations. (And i disagreed with Bush alot).
What we have now is a true Imperial presidency.
From the Executive to the Legislative, And the Treasury!
A while back, A very good friend of mine and I were having a conversation. It was about two months before the election. He is an old friend. And he is a die hard Obama supporter.
We were discussing different policies the candidate's were running on, and of course he regurgitated the slogan's and mantra, "the last 8 yrs", "we need change" and all the other bumper sticker trash. Anyway, our conversation somehow ended up on the topic of favorite movies (you know how conversations jump around when you're out for dinner and drinks.).
So the movie we were talking about was "V for Vendetta", A movie we both loved.
My friend went on to say "I'm surprised you like Bush and that movie, That movie is like bush's presidency.". I disagree, Wholeheartedly!
This is the Imperial Presidency! Every single step Obama takes is towards grabbing more power. I mentioned in a comment on my page about the "Civilian National Security Force" that Obama says we need. If you remember during the campaign, Obama said "We can't just rely on our military, We need a civilian force that is just as strong, and just as well funded!"
Of course no one in the media paid any attention to that. And so neither did any of the drones!
It reminds me of "V for Vendetta"! Where the President (prime minister in the movie) has total power. And has Military and civilian forces enforcing his rules. It is authoritarianism. Curfew's, spy's around every corner (like The old U.S.S.R. or East Germany). Frightening!
That's what I think of, when it comes to Obama and his "civilian National Security Force"!
I think KGB! And how could I not?
What the hell does Barack Obama know about running an auto giant like GM?
What the hell does Barack Obama Know about running ANY company? Or ANY private sector job for that matter? He's never had one!
In case you didn't know, Rabble Rouser isn't a real job! Sorry Just had to throw that in there. It makes me crazy!
Do you really want to know how I would define someone like Barack Obama? I'll need a few words.

And to really go there, A Megalomaniac!
Yup! Consumed by his own greatness!
So I thought that the comparison would be right on, "V for Vendetta", And Obama's presidency.

Liberty under attack.. continued

This tyranny that shall be described as a "soft tyranny", Is the modern day liberals ultimate goal. This tyranny can be disguised as a few things. Collectivism, Statism, Marxism to name a few. All of them promising the same things, (workers paradise, wars on poverty, economic and social justice) A "Utopian society". But what it is in fact, Is a counterrevolution. And there is one huge thing standing in the way, preventing this transformation, That very thing is LIBERTY! now they cannot constitutionally take your liberty away. So they will use methods to do it, so as not to alter the constitution, unconstitutionally. To quote the great Mark R. Levin, The "Judiciary is their clearest path to do so". Through their own interpretation of the constitution.
Under the leadership of Barack Obama (A prime product of Liberal academia), And with the
cooperation of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed, Barney Frank and the rest of the far left, The Government is stretching it arms out into every possible aspect of our lives. From the "free market" And now even "private property", which goes hand in hand with "liberty".
This is "liberty under attack".
And I for one, am not ready to give mine up! Nor should you!
We are all Americans, with dreams.
We all want the best for our future generations.
We all want the best for our country.
The only problem is, the "modern liberal" is succeeding at dividing and conquering the American people. By fooling one half of the people, to surrender their liberty in exchange for what they are calling your rights, the rest of the country will follow. or so they believe.
There is a war at home.
It is being fought on our own American soil.
It is being waged against our way of life.
And our standard of living.
It is in fact, Our "liberty under attack"

Liberty.
What is liberty to an American in these times?
Is it the right to ask your government for something free, whether it's health care, dental care, daycare etc...? It seems to be that way. The sense of entitlement has spiraled out of control! It has gotten to the point that if a person is taken care of by the tax dollar, It automatically gives them this sense of entitlement for more. It is a sad state of affairs if you ask me. To see an individuals spirit, drive, determination, fire if you will, be smothered by a wet blanket of charity (charity that does not lead you to success), and empty promises that can no easier be fulfilled to benefit the person making the promise, than help the person the promise has been made to.
This is where I, as a conservative, and a liberty loving American, would say that there is no better promise to be made than that of one to yourself. And no better fulfillment than that of a promise fulfilled by yourself. To rely on one's self is in fact liberty. The very liberty to carry out a dream, whatever that dream may be. But that liberty does not stop there, it continues, to do what you wish with the product of that dream, whatever that may be.
Liberty! It is a beautiful thing when left to be exactly what it is meant to be.
And liberty is exactly what it is meant to be.
the right to act according to your own will.
the right to be free.
the right to pursue a dream etc..
It is freedom from coercion.
Once it is obstructed by coerion, it is no longer liberty. It is a view, a view of another. And in that sense is now a tyranny!
