Who is right?

When is it that we become who we are politically? Our 20's, 30's or 40's?
Well I believe it is any one of those depending on the person.

Where does it happen? High school, College or in your own living room unfettered by some teacher, Professor or classmates views? Again, Any one of these.

I happened to have meet a very intelligent individual over the holiday weekend.
How refreshing it was to be challenged! We talked politics of course as we all drank our way (Safely) up and down Bell Blvd in Bayside Queens N.Y.. I will refer to this person as "Chicken" throughout this post.

As "Chicken" and I discussed the current goings on I learned that "Chicken" was an "Independent". Who of course voted for Obama. As usual I revealed myself as the "Evil" Conservative. Why is it that folks are always amazed when another is a "Conservative"?

The question really is who is right and who is wrong? Now, I don't claim to be right. But I know I cannot be wrong. Who can be wrong when what they believe in is American exceptionalism? And that Government doesnt get America out of it's problems, Americans do!

When someone says "Im an American", They should not believe in the people that dont believe in them. They should believe in themselves, their nieghbors and the rest of our working citizens that actually make this motor run!

Now how can that be wrong?

Chicken?????
