The difference between you and I

I believe America is great, and always has been.
You believe America is not, and never was. Although you disguise it with saying "America was once great."

I say our forefathers were great men.
You say they were slave owners.

I believe that all men are created equal, and endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights, among those are "Life" "Liberty" and "The pursuit of happiness."
You do not. You believe all men are not created equal, and one class of man holds another down. Therefore Those men owe something to the one's who are "held down."

I believe that the answer to our problems is us.
You believe we are the problem, And give men who are just like us the power to tell us what our rights are.

I believe in feeding the hungry here in America first.
You believe in feeding the hungry elsewhere first.

I support our troops no matter what the cause, because I know they are doing their job and following orders.
You do not. You ridicule them, and brand them as murderers, and try to take their pride away.

I believe in rules and law.
You believe rules are meant to broken, and twist the law to fit your views.

I believe the Constitution is a document, and a great one.
You believe it is living and breathing, and must be changed to fit your lifestyle.

I say "I am fortunate to be an American."
You say "unfortunately, I'm an American."

I believe in freedom of speech.
You believe in the freedom of your speech and yours only.

I believe in every mans right to do with his life what he pleases.
You believe in the right to tell a man how to live.

I believe that our children are our future.
You believe they are an expense.

This is the difference between you and I.

I am a Conservative.
You are a Liberal.

This is the difference between you and I.

I am an American at heart, not only on paper.
You are not.
